I thought I'd post a picture of the swimsuit I ordered last week. I'm pretty sure it won't look as good on me as it does on the model......the flat stomach doesn't come with the suit. I ordered it from Modbe clothing. A little pricey for my blood, but I decided that it was a good investment. This is my rational: If I spend a little more coin on a suit that I like, it'll last me a few summers. If I go cheap and I don't like the suit, I complain about it all summer and I get a new one the next year. I explained this to Jason and he went for it, but he told me to "wait until the loan goes through before I order it!" I decided to splurge and get the little swim skirt, too. I usually get a suit and then wear shorts that I've had for over 7 years that don't match. Here comes the sun! We've had 70 degree weather the last week or so! Bring on the summer! (Not July weather, though! We got up to 115 last year!)

First of all who is Jared? Does Jason mind him calling you hot? Second of all I am so ordering this suit! It is the cutest colors and cut! I've never heard of Modbe but I'll be checking it out. Do you mind if I copy? I'm sure you'll look better, I'll be barely postpartum and should probably wear a robe and not just the skirt!

I love that suit! I have never looked at that site. I will have to check it out now. I just think swimsuits are one of the most frustrating purchases I ever have to make! So I just end up wearing the same old ugly one I have had and worn since high school, and it isn't that it still fits me... it really doesn't, but I hate the search. Anyways. Can I just say that Lucy makes me smile. Thanks for the funny posts about her. It's good to have a good laugh now and then.
Cute! We're just the opposite. Adam always will give me permission to spend money on myself -- tell me to even -- and I still drag my feet and feel guilty and can't make decisions for myself. I do need a new top that will go with the brown bottoms I already have. Maybe we'll have to check out that site.

Super cute! They don't sale the model body, but maybe there is a chance they would work out an exchange. I'd be happy to pay any price for that.
Good rational by the way. I do the buy one each year thing too. did you receive your suit yet? Does it feel like quality long lasting material? Worth the plunge? If not, at least you will look super cute in your darling suit and skirt for another summer!!! Good find!
