Thanksgiving in Vegas

For Thanksgiving this year, we loaded up the van and headed to Vegas to spend the weekend with the Thompson's.  We counted down the days until it was time to go see some of our favorite people in the world.

Ryan's brother has a house in Las Vegas where he said we could stay.  We all got in on Wednesday night.  Thanksgiving dinner was DiGourno pizza because all the restaurants were either closed or booked solid.  We thought we had a chance at Mimi's Cafe, but when we got there, they turned us away.  No worries, though.  We were all just glad to be together!

The weather was fabulous and there was a sweet community pool just down the street.

The next day we went to a little family friendly street near the Vegas strip.

The kids had a great time watching this magician.

Ollie and Graham got to help out a bit.

We had dinner at Tony Roma's after roaming the street a bit.

We hadn't seen baby Simon since June, so we had a good time reacquainting ourselves with him.  It appears he enjoyed the reunion, too!

Here's the heads of the Thompson household.

We spent the afternoons swimming after playing at a fun park we found on the other side of Henderson.

Here's some moments caught at the house:

On Saturday night, Abby watched all the kids so we could go out to dinner.  We decided on a buffet at one of the nice casinos (Bellagio, maybe?).  Dinner was super pricey, but super fun!

Heidi and I posin' it up.

We can't wait to go back!
