Bowling with the Bard Bulldogs

Back in May, I had the pleasure of joining Lucy on her class field trip to the bowling alley. Good times were had by all!

Lucy has grown up so much this year. We had a rough start. Lots of tears at night before bed and every morning when I dropped her off she cried and cried and wouldn't let me go. By mid-year she still wouldn't claim to like school, but life was much better and we only had a few tears after long weekends or holidays. She always came out of class with a smile on her face and I knew once she got there, she was enjoying herself.

I laughed out loud yesterday when I was reminding Lucy of her chores for the day. She turned around and said in her perfected annoyed voice, "I can't wait for school to start!" Music to my ears.
